Party Wall Case Study in Chelsea

Adair was appointed by the adjoining owners of a block of beautiful flats in Chelsea after their neighbour had served them with a party wall notice for a proposed ground rear extension requiring foundations to be dug within three meters of the boundary.

Adair reviewed the plans for the proposed works, including excavating below the depth of the adjoining owner’s foundations and accompanied the building owner’s surveyor to undertake Schedules of Condition of the adjacent ground and lower-ground floor flats.

Adair undertook Awards between the two surveyors for the proposed notifiable works and undertook inspections upon completion to check for any damage to the adjoining owner’s property.
